Born in 1973, Tom Winter is a Dorset based artist specialising in oils. Upon completion of a two year BTEC in General Art and Design at the Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design he went on to study Fine Art at The Slade School, London. After four years he emerged with a 2:1 BA(hons) and the Sunday Times/Singer Friedlander Watercolour Student Prize.


Over the years, he has successfully carved a name for himself as both a figurative and landscape artist and as a Life/Portrait tutor.


He has also had a number of his still life pictures reproduced as greetings cards.


Tom is soon to complete an MA in Computer Animation at Bournemouth University.
